Leo Borgart's work is not as well known outside Europe as many of the Danish pipe makers. Mr. Borgart, born in 1944, has been making pipes for many years and his work, solidly in the super high grade class, is in high demand.. This piece is on the large side. The tortoise shell lucite stem is extended by a nicely fitted wood extension which joins perfectly with the shank. Nomenclature is strong and pipe is in excellent condition.
