I don’t know quite what to call this shape. It was sort of a flight of fancy. The grain is more flame grain than straight though the bottom of the bowl shows lots of birdseye. To coin a phrase, your hand will fit this pipe like a glove. I never fill sand pits. Please note the one on the front of the bowl.
