From early on in the process of making this pipe it was apparent that it had potential as a natural. There is nothing on the surface of the briar of this pipe other than several coats of carnauba wax. It will color naturally with use and handling. The shape is, of course, that of a traditional Dublin but I’ve softened the affect of a highly contrasting black stem with a hand cut brindle ebonite, very slightly bent.
