When you see a classic like this, you have to mourn the passing of the fine old English pipe makers. The Grand Slam line was high in Comoy's heirarchy and was characterized by a high contrast stain almost as eye catching as Tom Eltang's "Golden Contrast." The stem is original with three part "C." There are some dings on the bottom and lower front of the bowl and a very small tooth impression on the top of the lip. The original, removable condensor is still present in the pipe.
