Marxman was founded by Robert Marxman in New York in 1934 and survived
until 1953 when it merged with Mastercraft.  This pipe was likely
created in the 1940's and is of the same roughly hewn style as the
Custom-Bilts of the same era.  Contrary to it's name, it's by no means
"Jumbo" and is actually more a Group 3 or 4 in size and capacity.
It's in perfect condition and definitely a piece of American pipe
making history.
