Well done briar figurals were relatively common 40 or 50 years ago.
Today they're a rarity. This pipe, made in France is a mid-century
piece, beautifully formed and executed. It's unusual to find one of
this quality unsmoked. Made from a piece of plateaux Algerian briar,
the bottom shows birdseye. It sits nicely. Length - 7 1/8 Inches
